We are a family run business that prides itself in providing a personal and dedicated service. As owners of the Avalanche Adventure site we are able to offer a high quality, flexible and cost-effective package. We offer a wide variety of exhilarating outdoor activities. The fun, enjoyment, exhilaration and safety of our guests is our top priority. All activities are designed with this in mind. Whatever your requirements, Avalanche Adventure has a package to suit your needs.

Quad Biking Safari:

Experience the most varied and exciting quad bike adventure in the country. The safari adventure includes a variety of fast open ground, challenging woodland terrain and technical hilly sections. Expert tuition will ensure guests achieve the most from their Honda 250 quad bikes. The Quad bikes are fitted with an advanced, easy to use electronic gearshift system, which makes them fun and adaptable for all ages.

4x4 Driving and Tuition:

Whether you are a novice, an experienced 4x4 driver or somewhere in between, we can tailor a route to suit your own standards. The Avalanche Adventure tough terrain track comprises hard and soft ground, steep inclines, shallow and deep water, side slopes, axle twisters and a wooded section. In fact, there is every type of terrain you are ever likely to come across.

Off Road Racing Buggies: Our race circuit offers the challenge of loose surface power slides, hairpins, banked corners, chicanes, bumps and jumps. Challenge your friends in a league / knockout competition or just have fun racing on the track. Gemini 400cc race buggies feature full roll cage, four point harness and fully independent suspension. They are fast, exhilarating and highly responsive machines. We will provide you with all necessary safety clothing, equipment and training. Individual rides last from 1 hour for 4 people to a whole day for a large group.

Amphibious Vehicle Driving:

Want to experience driving a military-style amphibious vehicle? At Avalanche Adventure we offer you the chance to manoeuvre an eight-wheeled skid-steer Argocat around our man-made all-terrain course, where you can compete against your friends or colleagues on a time-trial event or simply try to make your way up and down our steep slope, across our deep water and through our slippery obstacle course.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:

At Avalanche Adventure we believe everyone enjoys the thrill of clay pigeon shooting! Experienced instructors will demonstrate how to use a shotgun safely and accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific game. We will tailor each clay shoot to match your ability and experience so that you find the event rewarding and challenging. As your experience grows you can progress to more challenging clays.

Archery:

Our outdoor range is designed specifically for archery practice over distances ranging from 20 yards for novices up to 80 yards for experts. We have left- and right-handed bows and our qualified instructors provide essential instruction for the beginner to this very popular activity. Team competitions can be arranged! We can cater for groups of 4 people or more.
